Professional Experience

Linguistic researcher with SIL International, an organization which serves language communities worldwide, building their capacity for sustainable language development, by means of research, translation, training and materials development

2008-present   Linguistic research in Corongo Quechua (qwa) and in Sihuas Quechua (qws), two endangered and underdocumented languages in central Peru

1987-present   Translation, curriculum development, training and mentoring native Quechua speakers in literature production, mother-tongue literacy, and orthography design in contract with the Peruvian Ministry of Education

1987-2008       Linguistic research in South Conchucos Quechua (qxo)

1986-1990       Described the phonology and morphology of Corongo Quechua
